TOC TO COACH ROC CELEBS

Tom Onslow-Cole has been signed up by the Race Of Champions to coach the stars taking part in the Celebrity Skills Challenge, including MOBO award-winner Ella Eyre, reality TV star Joey Essex and Rugby World Cup-winner Mike Tindall.

OC, who is well-known for his coaching roles within the MSA and FIA, was selected by the Race of Champions because of his proven track-record of teaching drivers of all abilities to reach their potential.

The celebrity line-up, which also includes multiple Olympic gold medalists Ben Ainslie and Chris Hoy and multiple Paralympic medalist Jon Allan Butterworth, will drive Arial Atom racing cars and OC says this will really test their listening and learning skills while providing a lot of entertainment for the tens of thousands of fans.

“I’ve coached drivers in the British Ariel Atom Cup for a number of years and they are such fun to drive,” he commented. “However, they are not the easiest racing car to control and this will not only push the celebrities to their limits but will surely provide some great entertainment!”

To celebrate his role in the Race Of Championship Celebrity Skills Challenge, OC is giving away five pairs of tickets for Friday and five pairs of tickets for Saturday. Follow OC on Facebook and Twitter to find out how to be in with a chance of winning.

“The Race Of Champions is an awesome and unique event. Where else do you get to see the world’s top racing drivers and celebrities compete all in one location? I’ll be giving away quite a few pairs of tickets so motorsport fans should keep their eyes peeled!”

The Race Of Champions takes place over two days on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 November at the London Olympic Stadium. For more information and to buy tickets, head to www.raceofchampions.com.
