“Not only am delighted to have signed another contract with Milltek Sport but I’m really pleased with the direction that my role is going,” he commented. “Over the past six years, I’ve become really integrated into the team and I’m enjoying getting involved in so many areas of the business.”
In 2015, OC tested Milltek Sport products at Spa-Francorchamps and the Nürburgring; met with fans at Goodwood Festival of Speed; coached the company’s development drivers on the ice in Sweden; and travelled to Australia to represent the brand in front of its new regional distributor.
“Tom is a fantastic brand ambassador for Milltek Sport,” commented managing director Steve Pound. “As well as his championship-winning performances on track, he is the full package off-track. He always presents himself professionally; promotes Milltek Sport and our products perfectly; fits into our team; and is always there to support us with whatever we need.“Everyone at Milltek Sport will be cheering him on from our new headquarters in Derby and we’re hoping to use some of his races to host our European customers and dealers.”
In 2016, OC will contest both the Blancpain Endurance Series and 24H Series, totalling eleven races in Europe and the Middle East.
“This is the most important racing season of my career so far and I’m grateful of Milltek Sport for being there to support me throughout it,” OC concluded. “I think we’ll have another great year together.”
